Woven wire or field fence can be adapted to any situation.  Wire options range from 26 inches tall to 120 inches tall and almost everything in between.  There are two significant differences in types of wire.  The soft wire options are much lower cost, but likely will not last as long or hold stretch as long as the Solid Lock fence made from high-tensile wire.  The high-tensile woven wires carry a significantly higher price tag, but should out last the soft wire and maintain stretch and their eye appeal much longer.  As an added bonus the Solid Lock allows for wider line post spacing which can offset the price of the wire.  Please note the prices listed below are strictly estimates of a simple 4 sided square layout.  Your actual price will differ depending on layout and location.  These listed prices include materials and installation.

These are only examples of what a simple layout might cost.  Similar to smooth high tensile fence, a vast number of combinations of wire and posts are available.  Woven wire is considerably more expensive than high tensile, but is much more secure.  In our opinion this is the logical choice for smaller animals as well as certain game animals such as deer or elk.  The wire descriptions above (1047/12/11) indicate the makeup of the fence.  The first number is a combination of the number of line wires and the height of the fence.  For example, 1047 means there are 10 line wires and the fence is 47 inches tall.  The second number is the spacing of the vertical stays in inches.  The final number is the gauge of the wire.  Please do not hesitate to call us with your questions.
