Equine
We offer a variety of fencing options for horses. Below we have listed a few of the most popular set-ups our equine customers have requested. We are currently unable to list prices. Your actual price will differ depending on your layout and location. Some of the options we offer are.
Poly coated high tensile wire
Coated wire is becoming more and more popular as the years go by. It is extremely attractive, its strong, its safe, its affordable, and it provides the convenience of regular high tensile with great visibility for the horses. Horsecote and Hotcote are available in white, black, or brown. Hotcote can be electrified for even more protection.

Rope or Tape
Rope or Tape fence is very economical and relatively easy to build. This fence is very safe for horses and has good visibility, but very little strength. It works great for large areas where permanent fence may not be needed. We do not recommend this type of fence in an area of high traffic or where a long term fence is being constructed. Rope and tape are both designed to be electrified and should be kept electrified to ensure the integrity of the fence.
Horserail
This system is gaining popularity at a stunning rate. It looks as good as or better than board fence or vinyl, but it’s less expensive and stronger that either of the other two. This fences consists of a 4, 5, or 6 inch wide strip of polyethylene with 2 (4 inch) or 3 (5 and 6 inch) strands of high tensile wire bonded inside. The combination makes an incredible looking fence with incomparable practicality compared to vinyl rail fence.
Board Fence
The other time honored traditional fence is board fence. AKA plank fence, or wood fence. In the heart of horse country you will find miles and miles of this type of fence. It looks great and can be more affordable than Vinyl/PVC. Several different types of lumber are available for this type of fence including poplar, oak, and pine. Board fence looks great along drives and roads and provides good protection to everything inside and out. Maintenance is an issue; however, it can be very rewarding in the long run.

Woven Wire/ No-Climb/ V-Mesh wire with 1 rail on top
Here is another popular choice at the large stables. One of the safest and most attractive fencing systems out there, but also one of the more expensive systems out there. This type is simply a woven wire fence with a board or Horserail along the top.

Vinyl Rail This is easily the fastest growing type of fence. It is beautiful to look at relatively easy to build and last essentially forever. It truly is great fence. It has one problem. This fence is expensive, but it can increase property value and aesthetics. Call for Pricing.
